While nearly everything can be Googled, not everything should
be Googled. When a parent is confronted with an emergency, there is simply no time to search Google, search YouTube or even wait for emergency responders—especially when the average .response time of 911 nationally is 10 minutes. The reality is you don't have 10 minutes. A baby or child who is choking, as an example, will pass out within a matter of seconds, and brain damage from lack of oxygen can occur within 4-6 minutes (or less).
Parents must have the ability to react instantly with the kind of life-saving skills we teach here at Our Child's Keeper, but it all begins with preventing it from happening in the first place. That's why we empower parents with the knowledge they'll need from trusted sources and experts in baby and child safety.
